Below is an example of a data set that you can upload to Avarni.

Follow the steps:

1. Navigate to Import Data and then click on Import Data.

2. Select the applicable Calculation type (Scope 1, 2 or 3), Category and Unit type. Click Next.

For this scenario, select Calculation Type = 3, Category = Purchased Goods and Services, Unit type = Currency.

3. Upload your attached file.

4. Confirm the header selection is correct and click Continue.

5. Change or confirm the column matches, click Apply mappings.

6. Review any errors and fix (if any), click Import.

7. Assign values to any missing fields (if applicable). Click Next.

8. Select relevant emission factor set. Click Next.

9. Review and complete the import process. Click Complete Import.

The import may take a few minutes to process. Once processed, you will receive an email from [email protected] notifying you to Review Results.

The button on the Import Data Screen next to the upload will change from “Processing” to “View”. If you don’t see the file show up after uploading initially, refresh the page.

10. To access the review page, click on View.

💡 Tip: Group by Activity Class to see a rolled up version of the mappings, by clicking on the folder icon on the top left of the table on the review screen. Grouping your data will help make the review process more efficient by condensing your dataset down to its unique rows.

11. Click on the arrow down button (shown below) to export the data with mappings, straight from the review page.
