Avarni's integration with the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) allows you to track whether your top suppliers have already committed to or set emissions reduction targets.

If you have set your own Scope 3 supply chain engagement target (eg. 90% of your supply chain by spend is required to have an SBTi by 2027), this also makes it easy for you to track progress towards your own target.

SBTi data on Avarni is updated weekly, at the same frequency that it is updated by the SBTi website itself - so you will always have the most up-to-date information on Avarni.

Avarni automatically matches your uploaded supplier data with SBTi companies. While not all suppliers will match due to name variations, they're ordered by spend amount for easy review of your highest-impact suppliers first.

The progress bar shows the percentage of your total supplier activity (typically spend) covered by SBTi targets.

To search for a match, click the drop-down on the table in the Sbti Company column, and type to search for the company. Press enter or click on the company to confirm - the row will turn blue. If no results show, the company does not have an SBTi.

To confirm a match, click the tick button on the right side of the dropdown on the table. The row will turn green.

The table gives you a quick overview of the key information related to the targets of a company, similar to the Target Dashbord page on the SBTi site.

To view just the targets with a matching SBTi company, use the quick filters on the top left of the table (All, Matched, Not Matched).

Not Matched is a useful view to use if you are systematically searching for targets for each of your top suppliers - it acts as a work queue to finding matches.

Click the row's arrow on the left to view a company's targets by disclosure date. For companies with a single disclosure, view details by scrolling right or selecting Commitments in the side-bar after clicking the row.

To view all targets on the table at once, click the double arrow on the left of the table header.

To view all details of a company and it's targets, including the target language, click on the row to open the detail side-bar.

You can toggle between the details of different companies using the left/right arrows on the top of the side-bar, in the same order as they appear on the screen.

Soon, we will also integrate SBTi targets into Custom Graphs, allowing you to see SBTi information in the context of emissions reports.

Later on our roadmap, we will also integrate SBTi targets into Forecasting, allowing you to see how your Scope 3 emissions will reduce over time based on the targets of your suppliers.
