Completeness shows what data has arrived, by facility, emission source and month.
It answers one question: for each site and each source, is there data for every day of the period?
What it compares
Completeness compares the days covered by your activity data against the days the facility was open in that month.
A record that covers a billing period counts for every day in that period. A quarterly electricity bill therefore fills three months.
The figure is coverage of time. It is not a percentage of spend and not a percentage of emissions.
Read the grid
Each parent row is a facility. Each child row under it is an emission source at that facility. One column represents one month.
Metered sources show days, as "24 / 31". Sources recorded as one-off transactions show a record count, as "3 records".
The right-hand column shows tCO2e for that row.
What the colours mean
State | Meaning |
Complete | Every day of the month is covered |
Partial | Some days are covered, but not all |
Missing | No data, and the month has ended |
Awaiting | No data, and the month has not ended yet |
Arrived | At least one record, for sources counted by record |
Check | No records in a month that has ended, for sources counted by record |
Awaiting is not a gap. The month is still running.
Check is a candidate gap rather than a confirmed one. Some sources genuinely have no activity in a given month.
Find the gaps
Go to Completeness.
Set the From and To months.
Turn on Gaps only.
The grid then shows only rows with a Missing, Partial or Check state.
Act on a gap
Select any cell to open the Emissions Hub, filtered to that facility, emission source and month. You correct the data there.
Completeness itself is read-only.
What it covers
Completeness covers every scope and every source of activity data.
Two things do not appear:
Rows not attributed to a facility. Set the facility on those rows and they appear.
Rows whose input unit type is unknown.
Facilities excluded from your boundary do not appear.
If the screen says it is not switched on
Completeness is enabled per organisation. If you see "Completeness isn't switched on yet", contact Avarni.
