Sending us your data

There are two ways data reaches Avarni: you upload it, or it arrives through a channel we set up with you.

Uploading it yourself

The fastest route, and the one that needs nothing arranged.

Go to Imported Data and select Import. Choose Spreadsheet for Excel or CSV, or PDFs and Images for bills.

Limits are 10 MB per file and 200 files in one go.

A shared folder

If you would rather drop files somewhere than upload them, we can set up a shared folder. You put files in, and we take it from there.

SharePoint is the usual choice. Talk to your Avarni lead about what suits your organisation.

This is arranged with us rather than set up by you.

A direct feed from your systems

Where you can export on a schedule, we can collect from a cloud storage location your systems write to. This suits organisations with a finance or operations system that can drop a file automatically.

Again, arranged with us. We will need a conversation with whoever runs the system.

Getting started

Upload it yourself

A handful of files each month

Upload it yourself

Invoices arriving continuously from several sites

A shared folder

A direct feed

One person forwards bills each month

A shared folder they can drop into

Name a person per source

This matters more than the channel.

For each data source, name the person who provides it. Implementations stall most often because nobody owns a particular source, rather than because a file was hard to send.

Your Avarni lead will ask for this at kickoff.

What happens once data arrives

Nothing happens automatically. Files in a shared folder or a feed are processed into your organisation, and you review them the same way as an upload.
