Configure suborganizations

This user guide provides instructions on how to configure your organizational structure within Avarni for efficient emissions breakdown.

Avarni collaborates closely with our customers to understand their organizational structure and reporting requirements. This enables users to categorize emissions based on departments, subsidiaries, office locations, or physical assets. Viewing this information at a group level aids in strategic alignment and roadmap planning.

Create a tier 1 suburbanization

Follow these steps to create a tier 1 suborganization:

1. Click on Settings on the bottom left of the dashboard and then click on Organisation Structure:

2. Under your main organization, click on + to create a suborganization:

3. Enter the name of your suborganization.

4. Click Create Sub-Organization:

πŸ’‘ Tip: To bulk create multiple suborganizations, click on Add + and then select Create Sub-Organizations once all suborganizations have been listed:

πŸ“Œ Note:

  • The process for creating multi-tier suborganizations is identical to the steps mentioned above.

  • Ensure you select + on the applicable organization to create a suborganization under it.

For example: To create suborganizations under Sydney (Sales, Marketing and Data Centre), you will select + under Sydney.


Delete a suborganization

To delete a suborganization, follow the below steps:

1. Click the trash can icon:

2. You will be asked to type in the name of the suborganization you wish to delete.

3. Click Delete:


Edit a suborganization

To edit a suborganization, follow the below steps:

1. Click the pencil icon:

2. Edit the suborganization by typing under the Name field.

3. Click Save:
