There is no single report button. What you use depends on who is receiving the numbers.
Which export to use
You need | Use |
Headline totals for a board pack | Overview, then download a panel as CSV, or export a graph as an image |
Figures for your sustainability report | Emissions Hub, grouped and filtered, exported to Excel |
Working papers for your auditor | Emissions Hub Excel export, which keeps its formulas |
A chart for a document | The chart menu on a graph, as PNG or SVG |
A recurring internal update | A graph with a scheduled email report |
Figures for your disclosure
Go to Emissions Hub.
Filter to your reporting period.
Filter the review status to Confirmed, Flagged and Pending, so the figures match the Overview.
Group by scope, then by GHG category.
Read the totals, or export.
Disclose location-based and market-based Scope 2 as separate lines. Do not add them.
Working papers for your auditor
Use the Excel export from the Emissions Hub.
It carries live formulas and the lookup tables behind them, covering emission factors, exchange rates, inflation and global warming potentials. Your auditor can change an input and watch the result move, which is usually what they want to see.
CSV gives values only. Use Excel when someone needs to check the working.
Check before you publish
Run these four checks:
Unmapped rows. Filter the status to Not mapped. Anything there contributes nothing to your total.
The period. Confirm your filter matches your reporting period exactly.
Scope 2. Confirm you have both location-based and market-based, and that you are not adding them.
Movement. Compare against last year and make sure you can explain every material change.
What Avarni does not produce
Avarni does not generate a formatted sustainability report or a disclosure document. It produces the figures and the evidence behind them.
Your Basis of Preparation is written separately. See What a Basis of Preparation is.
